About Chris & The Gronkowski Brothers

01

Ice Shaker CEO & Owner, Chris Gronkowski

Owner and inventor of the Ice Shaker, Chris Gronkowski first made a career for himself as a professional football player. He joined the NFL in 2010 after being signed by the Dallas Cowboys as a fullback. During his years in the NFL, Gronkowski also played for the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. In 2016, he decided to put his entrepreneurial skills to the test when he set out to create a protein shaker bottle that would alleviate many of the issues he and other avid athletes experience with standard protein shakers.

ā€œMy journey began when I tried to seek out a shaker cup that would keep my drinks cold with the convenient easy-open pop-top lid. I also wanted to be able to use it all day long, not just at the gym,ā€ says Gronkowski. ā€œI looked everywhere but couldnā€™t find what I was looking for. All kinds of insulated bottles and shaker cups are on the market, but there was nothing that was both vacuum sealed and featured a convenient pop-top lid. I decided at that point that I was going to make the best shaker bottle that I possibly could.ā€

And so he did, and when he was ready to take his business to the next level, he decided the pitch it to The Sharks on ABC's Shark Tank. Click here to find out if the Sharks bit. Now, with the help of his brothers, Chris Gronkowski puts all of his energy into running Ice Shaker and continuously updating the product line while improving the experience of protein shakers everywhere.

Ice Shaker Share Holder, Rob Gronkowski

Possibly the most recognized name in the Gronkowski family, Rob has established himself as a premier tight end in the NFL with the New England Patriots. Since being selected by the team in the second round during the 2010 draft, he has cemented his football legacy with two Super Bowl championships. This Gronkowski brother is praised for setting a number of NFL football records including his stats from the 2011 season when he scored the most touchdowns by a tight end. Football analysts and fans alike agree that Rob may be the greatest tight end to ever play the game.

Off the field, Rob is known for his big personality and is often the life of the party amongst friends and family. When heā€™s not training or playing, heā€™s always willing to help his brother, Chris with his successful protein shaker company. Check out how Gronk's first day on the job went here.

03

Gordie Gronkowski

The oldest of the Gronkowski brothers, Gordie is the only son of Diane and Gordon Gronkowski who did not pursue a career in football, choosing to chase his dream of playing professional baseball instead. After playing first and third base at Jacksonville University where he attended college, Gordie was signed by the Los Angeles Angels in 2006. From an early age, Gordie, like his brothers, was heavily involved in sports including hockey, basketball and baseball but eventually decided to put all his energy into baseball. He spent six years in the MBL playing as first baseman and designated hitter. After his career as a professional athlete, Gordie also pursued his entrepreneurial interest and now works on establishing gyms and fitness centers with the familyā€™s Gronk Fitness Gym Equipment and apparel line.

04

Dan Gronkowski

The second oldest of the Gronkowski brothers, Dan followed his passion for football while studying at the University of Maryland, where he earned a bachelorā€™s degree in marketing. Not only was Dan an integral part of the schoolā€™s football team, but he also received an award in 2006 for holding the highest GPA on the team. After graduation, Dan began pursuing a masterā€™s degree before he was drafted to the NFL as a tight end for the Detroit Lions in 2011. He spent three years in the NFL playing for the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns. Today, Dan is president of the family business, Gronk Fitness.

05

Glenn Gronkowski

Glenn is the youngest of the Gronkowski clan and, like his brothers, knew he would follow a career in sports. The familyā€™s competitive nature and support fueled each of the brothers to hone their skills and love for the game. At Kansas State, a NCAA Division I college where Glenn studied and played football, he received a number of accolades, including being honored as one of the All-Big 12 selections. Though he was not selected by a team in the 2016 draft, Glenn was signed that year by the Buffalo Bills. Later that year, he was signed to the New England Patriots and stayed with the team, and his brother Rob, when they defeated the Atlanta Falcons in the 2017 Super Bowl.Ā
